So....introducing....this week's layout....
See what I mean....SUPER fun!! From the mixed media components to the sequins and enamel dots. From the puffy stickers to the fun patterned papers, I am just in love with this collection! For the background, I used some black texture paste with a Tim Holtz stencil and then I dressed it up with three colors of mist splatters, enamel dot stars and circles, and lots of sequins.
From the SpiegelMom Scraps Store.....I used portions of three different sequin mixes. The ones I worked with this week are: Amy's Sprinkles, Wedding Bells, and Lilac Twinkle.
Here are a few more close-up images of some of the details....
I really hope that you enjoyed this week's Wacky Wednesday process video and layout. I had SO much fun making it and working with this incredible new collection from Crate Paper. C.R.A.F.T. Challenge--Christmas
Happy Thursday!! Welcome back to another week of C.R.A.F.T. Challenges. This week we are being challenged to create Christmas projects. With Back to School happening and stores already starting to fill with Halloween and Christmas products, it was a little easier for me to create a Christmas project this week! I decided to try something a little bit different and use my scrapbooking supplies to create a custom gift wrap look. Some tissue paper, washi tape, and a few fun embellishments and an adorable gift was easy and fun to create!! I hope that you enjoy and make sure that you visit the C.R.A.F.T. blog in order to see what the rest of the amazing design team has created. Make sure to link us up to a Christmas project of your own!

SpiegelMom Scraps: Wacky Wednesday: Wanderlust
Happy Wacky Wednesday! This week I am sharing another SpiegelMom Scraps project using the monthly challenge for the Facebook Group (15minutes to Scrap with SpiegelMom Scraps). If you haven't joined, make sure to head over to Facebook and join our fun group! This month, the challenge was designed by design team member, Lisa Kingston. She challenged everyone to create a bucket list themed layout about something that you would really like to do someday but haven't done yet. She also supplied a mood board and sketch to help with the creating. Below, you can see the mood board as well as the sketch.
I loved the beautiful colors and design of this layout and wanted to create a layout about my love of travel and all of the places that are still on my ever-growing travel bucket list. The color combinations seemed to work perfectly with the new Millie and June collection from Fancy Pants and so I jumped right in! Here is my final layout as well as some close-up photographs as well. I hope that you will take the time to visit my YT channel and check out the process video for this layout. While you are there, please subscribe so you don't miss out on any of the fun!

Bash Your Stash Challenge: Bash It: Office Supplies
I am so happy to share that I have been asked to host this week's challenge for the 2016 Bash Your Stash Facebook Group. We are going to be bashing our stashing of office supplies this week.....
It is that time of year where kids are heading back to school
and fall is in the air. This week, I had a blast working with the new free
Becky Higgins All About Me printables and my office supplies. If you are like
me, you have a ton of random office supplies hanging around the house and I
thought that it would be a blast to base a Back-to-School project on using
those supplies.
My challenge to you is to
create a project (any size!) that uses your office supplies as design elements.
No supplies are safe….graph paper, notebook paper, post-its, file folders, dig
into that stash and try something new! Here is what I created using mainly office supplies. I hope that you will also visit me on You Tube and check out the process video that goes with it!
I can’t wait to see what you create! Here are the links to my process video and the free Becky Higgins printables. Make sure to visit the 2016 Bash Your Stash Facebook Group to participate in this fun challenge! Happy Crafting!!!

For the Love of Homemade Kits: August: Kit Shar
Happy Sunday! I am so excited to be participating in the For the Love of Homemade Kits Series with Hannah Lemieux, Megan Paulos Blethen, and Felicia Young over on You Tube for another round of creating. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, this series uses a recipe of items to create a kit from our stash that is based around an inspiration piece. Then, each of us spends four weeks creating layouts and process videos from the ingredients in our kits. The idea is to start digging in our stash and use a combination of both new and old products to create some amazing layouts. Each week, you will be able to see a process video and layout from each of us on our You Tube channels using our individual kits. YAY! Click here to check out my kit share for week one of the For the Love of Homemade Kits Series: July. The first process video will be posted on Tuesday, August 9th so you don't even have to wait a whole week this time!
For this round, the inspiration piece was from Maggie Holmes Open Book and is called Slideshow. You can see an image of both sides of that paper below. I didn't have this individual paper but I did have the Open Book paper pad so I have a full piece of both sides included in my kit instead.
The paper portion of this recipe includes:
1. The inspiration piece
2. a texture
3. a stripe
4. a circle or dot
5. a freebie pattern (opps! I picked two of these)
6. two 6x6 pieces of patterned paper

I hope that you will use this recipe to put together your own kit and I would love to see what you create if you are playing along with us. Make sure to stop by and check out my You Tube video showing my kit and then head on over to see the kits that Hannah, Felicia, and Megan put together as well. It is going to be a very fun month! Stick It Down--August Sketch Challenge
Happy Friday! I am back today with a layout that I created to go with the August Stick It Down Sketch. Each month, we are challenged to use a sketch to create a layout and the one for this month is below.
For my layout, I used the background as the main inspiration and included one photo instead of two. I used a longer title so I needed to overlap the patterned paper strip but overall it was inspired by the sketch. The majority of the elements included are from older Heidi Swapp collections.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope that this sketch and my project have inspired you to create a layout using this fun starting point. Make sure to head on over to the Stick It Down Blog in order to see what the other amazing design team members have created for this sketch and to show us your interpretation and project as well. Happy Crafting!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge--Color Combo
Happy Thursday and welcome back to another C.R.A.F.T. Challenge! This week, we have been challenged to use the color combination below to create a project. I was excited to work with this combination because it has a slight autumn feel and we are slowly moving into that time of year and seeing all of the new fall collections released.
As typical, I created a simple card using some patterned papers and a wood veneer that I had in my stash. Placing different patterns behind each leaf cut-out gave it the feel of a cut file but with a little more dimension and texture.
I hope you enjoyed seeing this simple card project and design. I can't wait to see what you create with this color combination. Make sure to visit the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog to check out the rest of the amazing work from the talented design team and to leave us a link to your project using this color combination. Happy Crafting!!

Sparkler Squads Unite! SpiegelMom Scraps August Blog Hop
Welcome to August...the time of year for last summer memories and back to school preparations! Where I live in Arizona, my kiddos are going back to school next week already so this week we have Back to School Kick-off Events and Meet the Teacher to attend. I always hope to hold on to just a few more summer memories and adventures throughout August and I hope that the cut files I designed for this month inspire you to soak up the last few rays of summer vacation and adventure as well. You should have arrived here from Hannah's amazing blog after checking out her fun mixed media project and bold, graphic color scheme.
I am SO very excited to be starting as an official Sparkler after being the Guest Designer here last month. I am going to be part of the You Tube Squad which means that every week (Wednesdays for me) you will see a new You Tube video in a series that I am calling Wacky Wednesdays where anything goes, bright colors rock, and new techniques and creative play are always welcome. I will also be contributing a monthly cut file to our blog hops so let me know if you there is something that you would really love to see included by leaving that in the comments below!
My project for today is a Disney layout featuring multiple photos. I left the main focal layout at 4x6 size and then the three supporting photos at 3x3 size. This allowed for a natural location for both my journaling and the title to call home. From the SpiegelMom Scraps store, I used the following sequin packages to find my fun little details: Gold Sweetheart Confetti, Hot Right Now, Believe in You, and Sunny Smiles. I also LOVED working with the Birds of a Feather Felties that are so easy to color coordinate just by using the inks that you already have on hand. Enjoy these photos and make sure to visit my YT Channel to watch the process video that goes with this layout by clicking here.
Thank you for spending your time with us today! I'd love for you to be in the running for the $10.00 shop credit so make sure to leave a comment on each blog to be entered. Don't forget I would love to hear what kinds of things you would like to see included in future cut files!
You have until August 4th to comment and enter to win the shop credit. Sharing on social media will also earn you an extra entry! Just make sure to leave an additional comment telling us where you shared this fun event! Now, you will be heading over to check out the amazingly talented Beth Soler who is having fun with cut files and sequins today. Enjoy and Happy Crafting!!
